Deuling, Betty Jo Betty Jo Deuling, age 49 of Newaygo, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2005 at her home following a house fire. Betty was born on April 26, 1956 in Fremont to Burt and Patricia Ann (Grandon) Sullivan and married Patrick Deuling on October 14, 1977 in White Cloud. Betty attended Newaygo Public School and graduated from Newaygo High School in 1975. She has been a homemaker all her life and gained much satisfaction from taking care of others. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, and adored her grandchildren, Alyssa and Madison. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Patrick of Newaygo; her daughter, Christina Ann (John) Salacina of Newaygo; her granddaughters, Alyssa Marie Salacina and Madison Grace Salacina; her sister, Bonnie (Bud) Burns of Newaygo; her brother, Mike (Mary Jane) Sullivan of Newaygo; nephew, Lee Sullivan; nieces, Katey Sullivan and Tiffany Burns; brother-in-laws, John (Marthy) Deuling; Peter (Dorothy) Deuling; several aunts, uncles, cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Burt Sullivan on November 6, 1968 and by her mother, Patricia Ann Sullivan on January 22, 2005. Memorial services were held on Friday, January 6, 2006 at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo.
