Mrs. Betty J. Klomp, age 70, of Fremont passed away on November 12, 2009, at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on May 5, 1939, in Pontiac, MI. to Lyonel and Vivian (Dukes) Goodenrath and married Jerry A. Klomp on November 28, 1959, in Muskegon. Betty retired from Gerber Products Company, where she had worked for 25 years in the Marketing Department, most recently as a Market Research Analyst. She was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont and was an active member of the Council of Catholic Women. Betty is survived by her husband, Jerry of Fremont; children, Philip (Cindy) Klomp of Maplewood, MN., Leah (Mark) Arends of Ravenna, Troy (Jill) Klomp of Nashua, NH; 8 grandchildren, Annette, Shelby and Joseph Klomp, Joel Nicole, and Seth Arends, Ryleigh Homer and Marissa Klomp; sister, Kay (Dick) Patton of Eden Prairie, MN. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 16, 2009, at 11 AM from the All Saints Catholic Church with Father Peter Chukwu officiating. There will be visitation on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 pm at the Crandell Funeral Home with Rosary Prayers at 7:30 PM.
