Obituary

Betty Lou Majewski, 91, of Hesperia, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026.

Betty was born March 7, 1934, the daughter of Harold and Madelyn (Noel) Blish. She married Robert Majewski on June 7, 1958 and together they were blessed with 65 years of marriage until his death in 2023. Betty was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, ceramics, garage sales, and cooking. She was a quiet, kind, loving woman who will be deeply missed.

Betty is survived by: her children, Michael (Penny) Majewski, and Madelyn (Kelly) Thompson; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew (Sara), Mandi, Daniel, Paul (Christina), Andrew (Elizabeth), Kelsey (Jon), Tyson (Erin), Ristoph (Eli), and Lindsey (Josh); several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A special thanks to Emmanuel Hospice, Happier at Home, and Villa Maria.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; son, Robert Jr.; great-grandson, Cameron DeVries; and sister, Shirley Peters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Christ the King Catholic Church 263 S Elm St, Hesperia. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the start of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Hospice.
