Beverly Ann Edwards, age 87 of Fremont, formerly of Ponte Vedra, Florida, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at her home in Fremont. Beverly was born on August 13, 1936 in Spokane, Washington to Harold Lee and Bertha Lillian (Harma) Olson. Beverly graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and later received her Masters Degree in History from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Beverly had been a public education teacher in the Royal Oak area where she taught, Physical Education, English and History and after retirement from teaching moved to Ponte Vedra, Florida in 1985 where she worked as a receptionist in real estate and eventually moved to the Fremont area in 2013. Beverly enjoyed crafting in her younger years and shopping with a fond interest in antiques. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Kelly Lynn (Chris) Braim of Holton and their children, Emily and Lily; her son, Scott Richard Edwards of Savannah, Georgia and his children, Kelsey and Kade; her brother, Robert Lee (Anne) Olson of Ponte Vedra, Florida; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held in the spring of 2024 in Ponte Vedra, Florida following Beverly's wishes for cremation.
