Beverly O. Kelly, age 86, of Holton passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the Cyrus & Leila Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon. Bev was born on November 23, 1929, in Muskegon to Guy and Martha (Henry) Veltman and was a member of the Samuel Lutheran Church in Muskegon. Bev worked at Howmet in Muskegon for 27 years, retiring in 1994. She was a charter member of the Holton American Legion Womens Auxiliary and enjoyed music and traveling. Beverly is survived by the love of her life for over 40 years, Bob Jones; children, Pam Falbe of Whitehall, Cindy Kelly Alexander of Holton, and Kevin Kelly of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Bev was preceded by her son, Bruce Wayne Kelly; grandson, Bruce Wayne Kelly Jr.; and brothers, Ernie, Guy Jr., Richard, and Bill Veltman. Funeral services for Bev will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with Pastor Marcy Miller from the Samuel Lutheran Church in Muskegon officiating. There will be visitation from 1 PM to 3 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. All are invited to the funeral luncheon following the service at the Holton American Legion Post in Holton.
