Beverly J. Taylor, age 70 of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 15, 2001 at Spectrum Health East Campus. She was born on May 14, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Alburn and Mildred (Kutusky) Schaefer and married Richard Taylor on October 8, 1976 in Newaygo. She had been employed as a machine press operator for White Cloud Products until her retirement and had been a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, dancing spending time with her grandchildren and especially her flowers. She is survived by her husband, Richard; her father, Alburn Schaefer of White Cloud; 6 children, Michael (Janice) Hosty of Chicago, IL; Emmett Hosty of Newaygo; Shawn Hosty of Chicago; Joe Hosty of White Cloud; Kathy (Albert) Feledy of Chicago; Sheila (Gary) Hosty of Chicago; 7 grandchildren, Erin, Nicole, Jacob, Michele, Rachel, Rickey and Dannielle; 2 brothers, Ron Schaefer of Wisconsin; Chuck Schaefer of Arkansas; host of other family and friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 19, 2001from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Father Raymond Bruck presiding with cremation following.
