Bonnie L. Isbell, age 85 of White Cloud, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at her home. Bonnie was born on January 5, 1938 in White Cloud to Walter and Emma (Craigmyle) Wismar and graduated from White Cloud High School. Bonnie met and married Edward Isbell on August 2, 1974 in Grand Rapids and Ed preceded her in death on August 12, 2023. Bonnie had worked various jobs throughout her lifetime and was never afraid to try something new, but always returned to be a homemaker. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, puzzles, walks in the woods and you were always welcome at her home for a meal as she enjoyed feeding everyone. Bonnie is survived by her children, Kimberly Geluso of Belmont; Andrew (Mary) Misner of Grand Rapids; step children, Theresa (Douglas) Norton of Sparta; Edward (Christine) Isbell Jr. of Allendale; Lora Guidebeck of Grand Rapids; Christopher (Stacie) Isbell of Sparta; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her brothers, Dave Wismar of Dearborn Heights and Keith Wismar of Newaygo. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Following Bonnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
