Bonnie Lou Robinson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, family matriarch and friend, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on September 16, 1938, in Paris, Michigan. Bonnie raised her family in Hersey and retired from Reed City Public Schools. She was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.
Bonnie dedicated her life to her family and community. She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering support for those she loved. Her home was always open, and she welcomed everyone with a smile and a comforting presence. Bonnie's kitchen was always filled with the aroma of her famous baked goods, a treat she lovingly baked for every family gathering.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Doris Carnes, and her husband, Elmer Robinson. She is survived by children: Robin (Craig) Adams, Robbie (Sue) Robinson, Randy (Laurie) Robinson, Elmer (Gloria) Robinson, and Rhonda (Dale) Reeser. They will forever cherish her memory and strive to honor her legacy of compassion and strength. She will be missed by her grandchildren: Michael (Katrina) Adams, Rebekah (Ben) Peever, Timothy Robinson, Liam Robinson, Brayden Robinson, Phillip (Tiffany) Robinson, Peter (Chelsea) Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Cassidy Robinson, Lynette (Adam) Zeigler, Matthew Robinson, and Andrew Reeser. Her great-grandchildren: Hildi Peever, Freya Peever, Siguard Peever, Justice Luttrell, Riley Kahl, Niya Robinson, Ava Robinson, and Jase Robinson. Her great-great-grandchild: Makayla Kahl.
Bonnie was a member of the Reed City United Methodist Church. She had a green thumb and spent countless hours tending to her gardens, which was admired by all.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Crandell Funeral Home, 7193 W 48th St, Fremont. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of her life from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Graveside burial will be held at 4 p.m. at Whipple Cemetery, 11595 N Pine Ave, Paris. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reed City United Methodist Church/Kids Fund.
Bonnie Lou Robinson will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she is no longer with us, Bonnie's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us every day.
