Bonnie P. Towne, age 78 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Bonnie was born on July 11, 1933 in Muskegon to Ellis and Bernice (DuPrey) Page and later married Edwin Towne on December 11, 1950 in White Cloud. Bonnie has been a lifelong resident of the area where she had been an in-home party sales regional manager for many years, starting with Tupperware and eventually selling products for Merri Mac until her retirement. Bonnie also enjoyed crocheting, playing cards with friends and grandchildren, word puzzles and had been an avid bowler in her younger years. Bonnie was a member of the White Cloud Church of God. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ed of Fremont; her children, Jim (Pam) Towne of Key West, Florida; Dorothy (Ron) Pummel of Newaygo; Diane (Bill) Krestakos of Comstock Park; Bonnie (Mike) Rosenborg of Canyonville, Oregon; Nancy Towne-Latronica of Wichita, Kansas; Sheila (Jeff) Ebenstein of White Cloud; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her sisters and brother, Emma (Bernie) Curtis of Muskegon; Elaine Dancz of Kentwood; Carl Page of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Mildred Dulin, Mary Green, Dora Vayette, Bud Page, Floyd Page, Bernard Page and John Page. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Cloud Church of God following cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Bonnie Towne family in memory of Bonnie.
