Bonnie B. Webster, age 94 of Fremont, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Bonnie was born on October 5, 1916 in Newaygo to James and Mattie (Ottinger) Bushen and later married Alfred J. Webster Sr. on May 22, 1937 in Fremont. Alfred preceded her in death on March 2, 1982. Bonnie has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where she had worked at Gerber Products Company and Westfield Sommers until her retirement. Bonnie was active in the Foster Grandparents Program for over 15 years where she worked at Daisy Brook School and Pathfinder School, reading and helping the children. Bonnie was a member of the Fremont Christian Church Disciples of Christ where she had been active in the Ladies Aid. Bonnie also enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors in her yard and walking her dog in her neighborhood in Fremont. Bonnie is survived by her son, Alfred (Jane) Webster of Fremont; her grandchildren, Shelly (Jeffrey) Dunbar of Fremont; May (Robert) Wojahn of Fremont; James Webster of Flint; her great grandchildren, Dustin (Kim) Baker; Naomi Aguilar; Tara Baker; Holly Wojahn; her great great grandchildren, Alia Aguilar; Richard Aguilar Jr.; Nichole Raymo; Jack Baker. VISITATION : Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 11-1pm at the Fremont Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. FUNERAL SERVICES : Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 1pm at the church. INTERMENT : Big Prairie Twp.
