Bonnie B. Wells, age 93 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2001 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on May 18, 1908 to George Myron and Mellie Agnes (Thompson) Brooks and married Ralph Ellison Wells on October 23, 1935 in Sparta. Ralph preceded her in death in July 1967. She has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where she had been a homemaker and friend of the First Christian Reformed Church. She had also been a volunteer Grey Worker at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility, enjoyed crocheting, baking, helping people in the community and developing new friendships with people, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her grandchildren, Debbie (Ellis) Luchies of Kentwood; Barbara (Todd) Horton of Newaygo; Lori Bunker of Fremont; Sharon (Bob) Sanborn Rottman of Fremont; Bonnie (Robert) Highfill of Grand Rapids; Jeff (Diane) Sanborn of Grand Rapids; Michael (Carrie) Sanborn of Fremont; Mark (Jamie) Sanborn of Fremont; many beloved great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Roy L. Sanborn on February 19, 1985. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 8, 2001 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev.
