Bonnie Marie Fairchild, age 73, of Hesperia, MI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024. She was born on Thursday, October 5th, 1950, to Harry and Audrey Wright.

Bonnie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving spouse, Joe Fairchild, her children Dave Fairchild and Adam (Nicole) Fairchild, her grandchildren Wade, Taylor, Amber, her brothers; Joe (Lorna) Wright, Rick (Barb) Wright, brother-in-law Bernie VanZanten, and sister-in-law Karen Wright. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Audrey Wright, her sisters, Ruth Walker, Susan VanZanten, Linda Frees, brother, Bill Wright, and grandchildren Tyler and Dominik.

Most of Bonnie's career was spent working with the Hesperia Public Schools as the head cook. She was known for her delicious meals and nurturing spirit. In her free time, Bonnie enjoyed cross-stitching, birdwatching, especially hummingbirds, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to be out on her pontoon and often went out on the sandbar at Campbell Lake. Bonnie will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.

A celebration of life for Bonnie will be held at the Hesperia American Legion on September 21st 1:00pm - 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hesperia Public Schools in her memory. Arrangements are being handled by Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont.
