Brenda Marie Colegrove, age 68 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2021 following a short battle with Angiosarcoma at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. Brenda was born on August 7, 1953 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of George and Ethel (Hensley) Calkins. Brenda later married Johnny Roy Colegrove in 1978 in Jellico, Tennessee and Johnny preceded her in death on July 17, 2000. Brenda moved to the White Cloud area in 1983 from Grand Rapids and had been a data entry operator at Fremont Mutual for several years until her retirement. Brenda enjoyed baking, crocheting, knitting, all types of crafts and reading. Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jennifer "Jenn" (Jason) Ringler of White Cloud; Margaret (fiancé, Jason Hyrns) Colegrove of White Cloud; her grandchildren, John, Noah and Lillian Ringler; Jacob Colegrove and Mia Hyrns; her great granddaughter, Carmen Jade Suttorp-Colegrove; her sister, Cathy Colegrove of Lexington, Kentucky. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny; her parents, George and Ethel Calkins and by her brother, Mark. VISITATION : Monday, November 29, 2021 from 11-12 at the Big Jackson Church of God 4001 E. 13 Mile Road Paris, Michigan 49338 with MEMORIAL SERVICES at 12pm at the church.
