Brenda Carol Glasspoole, age 74 of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Spectrum Health Reed City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Reed City. Brenda was born on November 13, 1948 in Hazel Park, Michigan to John Wesley and Helen (Mullins) Owens and later attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids. Brenda was known to many in the past few years as "Wacky" a name given to her by her granddaughter and Brenda cherished the nickname. Brenda has been a resident of the White Cloud area for the past 50 years and has been together with her significant other, Brian Craigmyle for over 40 years. Brenda was the manager at Wesco in White Cloud for many years until her retirement and was a former member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in White Cloud. Brenda enjoyed supporting her children's school activities on class trips and adventures and enjoyed traveling - Mackinaw trips and casino trips. Brenda is survived by her significant other, Brian Craigmyle of White Cloud; her children, Samantha (Micheal) Wright of Lakeview; Victor Glasspoole of Traverse City; her granddaughter, Kinsleigh Wright; her sister, Ava McCoy of Grand Rapids; nephew, Steven (Linda) McCoy; niece, Deborah Macaluso; several great nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Owens; her brother-in-law, John McCoy; her nephew, Benjamin Macaluso.
