Brendon P. Guzman, age 20 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the DeVos Childrens Hospital in Grand Rapids following a lingering illness. Brendon was born on January 11, 1992 in Grand Rapids to Paul and Kelly (Krill) Guzman. Brendon graduated from Fremont High School, Class of 2012 and was an avid Detroit Pistons and Detroit Tigers Fan. Brendon was a member of the Temple United Methodist Church. Brendon loved attending school, spending time with his friends and teachers. He was known for his great sense of humor, his smile and thumbs up. His raspberries brightened the days of many. SURVIVORS : his parents, Paul and Kelly Guzman of Fremont; sister, Kayla Guzman; brother, Gage Guzman both of Fremont; maternal grandparents, Sue (Jerry) Hagans of Muskegon; Ben (Louise) Krill of North Muskegon; paternal grandparents, Bill & Linda Guzman of Spring Lake; paternal great grandmother, Margarit Guzman of Nunica; several aunts, uncles, cousins, many special friends and his dog, Rocky. A time of celebration will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 4-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel following cremation. Friends are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital Foundation or Spectrum Health Foundation for the Renucci Hospitality House in memory of Brendon.
