Brian Scott Herin, age 50 of Kalamazoo, formerly of Hesperia, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Brian was born on April 9, 1968 in Fremont to Randy Scott and Cheryl Ann (Buchanan) Herin and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1987. Brian has been a resident of the Kalamazoo area for the past 12 years and had been a self-employed carpet installer for several years. Brian had enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and being in the Michigan outdoors.= Brian is survived by his mother, Cheryl Herin of Hesperia; his children, Kylie (fiancée, Rick Hensley) Herin of Hamilton, Ohio; Michael Herin of Hamilton, Ohio; Maddisen Herin Schroeder of Twin Lake; his grand daughter, Ryleigh Herin; his brother, Todd (Amy) Herin of Grant; his sister, Kristen (Steve) Wiersema of Fremont; his fiancée, Lisa Mcdonald of Kalamazoo; his maternal grandmother, Betty Edwards of Colorado Springs, Colorado; paternal grandmother, Veva Herin of Hesperia; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Randy Scott Herin in 2012 and his paternal grandfather, Darroll Herin. Public graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the East Hesperia Cemetery 8800 W 1 Mile Road Hesperia Michigan 49421.
