Craigmyle, Clarence Otis Clarence Otis Craigmyle, age 79 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Clarence was born on January 11, 1925 in Whtie Cloud to Edward and Ethyl (Driggs) Craigmyle and married Virginia Bidelman on March 29, 1952 in Sparta. Clarence has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where he had been a truck driver at the Newaygo County Road Commission until his retirement. He was a life member of the Newaygo V.F.W. Sportsmans Post #4249 and had served as commander in 1966 and 1967. He served in the United States Army during World War II and received 1 bronze star during his service in the armed forces. He is survived by his wife, Virginia of White Cloud; his children, Ila Page of White Cloud; Phyllis (Don) Green of White Cloud; Nancy (Harold) Clark of Newaygo; Darrel (Sharon) Davis of Howard City; August (Helen) Davis of White Cloud; grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Craigmyle and brothers, Roy Craigmyle, Paul Craigmyle, Ralph Craigmyle. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 7, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. R.L. Treadway of the White Cloud Church of God presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery. Military rites were given under the auspices of the Newaygo V.F.W.
