Hickman, Carl J. Carl J. Hickman, age 69 of White Cloud formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. He was born on June 24, 1933 in Hannah, MI to Forrest E. and Beatrice Ellen (Burnette) Hickman and had been a truck driver for the Roadway Company - Grand Rapids Terminal until his retirement. SURVIVORS : his children, Carla (Ken) Hollenbeck of Kalkaska; John (Cindy) Hickman of Cumby, TX; Dennis (Kay) Hickman of Wyoming, MI; James (Rose) Hickman of Belding; Katherine (William A.) Ogan of Remus; Roberta Hickman & Steve Foote of Howard City; Mary Hickman of Jenison; Stephan Hickman of Wyoming, MI; Ann Marie Hickman of San Mateo, CA; his mother, Beatrice Hickman of White Cloud; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; his brothers, Robert (Peggy) Hickman of Kentwood; John Hickman of Fremont; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest in 1962. Private services were held following cremation. Friends may consider the American Cancer Society in memory of Carl for memorial contributions.
