Carl Morton Sprout Jr., age 78, of White Cloud passed away on Monday August 2, 2021, at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in Fremont. Carl was born on June 9, 1943, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to Carl M. and Helen (Gundrum) Sprout Sr. and married Ruth Ann Bucher on September 21, 1979, at the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud. Carl had worked as a Supervisor for North American Refractories Company in White Cloud and retired after 45 years of service. He loved the outdoors, woodworking, antique shows and markets, and was a member of the Kettle Creek Hunting and Fishing Club in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania. Carl is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; children, Denise Yvonne Sprout of Twin Lake and Leigh Ann (Heath) Warren of Whitehall; and sister, Lucinda "Cindy" (Mike) Stratton of Kansas.
