Bowman, Carol M. Carol M. Bowman, age 58 of White Cloud, formerly of Wyoming, passed away Tuesday at her home. She was born on March 4, 1946 in Grand Rapids to John "Jack" and K. Marie (Boots) Brandt and later married Henry "Hank" Bowman on Octobert 11, 1963 in Grandville. She has been a resident of the White Cloud area since March 1998 when she and Hank moved from Wyoming. She had been a lunchroom aid for Wyoming Public Schools, a cashier at Mr. Burger and most recently retired from Walmart as a cashier in June 2003. Carol enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting, her flowers, bowling, pen and ink art, and the Michigan outdoors. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud. She is survived by her husband, Henry "Hank" Bowman of White Cloud; her mother, K. Marie Brandt of Jenison; her children, Brent (Danielle) Bowman of Grandville; Bart (Jenny) Bowman of Kentwood; Jacalyn Bowman of White Cloud; her grandchildren, Dacoda, Anna and Alycia; sister, Sylvia (Ron) Hanlon of Wyoming; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, John "Jack" Brandt on August 31, 2001. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 from the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard Hoogerhyde presiding with interment in the Floral View Memorial Gardens in Grandville. Friends may consider Hospice of Michigan, Newaygo County or the American Cancer Society in memory of Carol for memorial contributions.
