Carol Ann Martel, age 65 of White Cloud, passed away October 4, 2012 at her home following a lingering illness. Carol was born on March 20, 1947 in Garden City, Michigan to Charles John and Virginia Mae (Carriveau) McMenamy and moved to the White Cloud area in 1989 from Temperance, Michigan. Carol had been a caregiver all her life and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting. Carol is survived by her sons, Rob Martel of Westland; Chuck Martel (significant other, Amy) of White Cloud; her daughter, Chris Waganfeald (significant other, Mike) of Hesperia; her grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Alicia, Josh, Angel and Alexandria; 1 great grandson, Kreedence; her brothers and sisters, John McMenamy of Livonia; Mary McMenamy of Taylor; Charles McMenamy Jr. of Fremont; Joe (Sherrie) McMenamy of Chicago; Delores (Robert) LaPointe of Temperance; George McMenamy of White Cloud; Veronica (Lenny) Martin of Taylor; many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia; her sister, Virginia Collins and by her brother, William Big Bill McMenamy. VISITATION : Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 4-6 at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 6pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel.
