Russell, Carol May Carol May Russell, age 65 of Newaygo, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2000 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on August 2, 1934 in Three Rivers, Michigan to John B. and Alice (Metzgar) Scott and married Keith L. Russell Sr. on November 24, 1982 in White Cloud. She has been a resident of the Newaygo area for the past 20 years and had been a production worker for the Celia Corporation in Sparta for the past 5 years. She enjoyed music and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Keith L. Russell Sr. of Newaygo; her children, Aline Snoeyink of Grand Rapids; Leianne (Robert Kenneth) Baas of Cincinnati, Ohio; Ron Inger of Grand Rapids; her stepchildren, Keith (Gail) Russell Jr. of White Cloud; Brenda Lee Sweet of White Cloud; Janice (Roger) Miller of Grant; Robert John (Audrey) Russell of Grant; John Leroy Russell of Newaygo; 22 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one brother, Jim (Mary) Scott of Three Rivers, MI. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Ross; two brothers, Jack Scott and Dick Scott; and one grandchild. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 14, 2000 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. David Jones of the Newaygo Southern Baptist Church presiding with interment in the Croton Township Cemetery. Friends may consider the Croton First Responders for memorial contributions.
