Carol Ann Thompson, age 45 of Burton, formerly of White Cloud, passed away January 27, 2013 at her home. Carol was born in Detroit, MI on August 25, 1967, daughter of the late Herbert and Opal (Cosby) Thompson. Carol was a very outgoing person with a great love for her family. She very much enjoyed walking the Crim with her fellow classmates from Elmer A. Knopf Learning Center. Carol also enjoyed coloring, drawing and going out for dinner. Carol is survived by her brother, James (Kathie) Thompson; sister, Nora (Dave Miles) Mitchell; special friend, Jon Sweet; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Thompson. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and for one hour prior to the service at the Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI www.allenfuneralhomeinc.com. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI with Pastor Tony Chick officiating. Private burial will take place in Sherman Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesee County Special Olympics.
