She was born on September 8, 1957 , in Grand Rapids to Clare and Patricia (Kubicek) Walters. Carol is survived by her loving mother Patricia Walters Sabo and step-father Michael Sabo of Fremont; sisters, Linda Deuling of Fremont, Diane L. (Nick) McGraw of Fremont, Roxanne (Bill) Kennedy of Fremont, Brenda (Mike) Hardy of Newaygo, Penny (Scott) Spoelstra of Wayland, and Jennifer L. (Jerry) Walters of Fremont; brother, Garth (Heather) Walters of Ackworth, Georgia; step-brother, Michael Sabo Jr. of Fremont; step-sisters, Michelle Wyant of Newaygo, Theressa Counterman of Holton, and Jane Fuller of Grant; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Clare and brother Butch H. Walters. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, April 14, 2003 , at the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with Father Tony Russo officiating.
