Carolyn M. Gibson, age 51 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at her home following a long battle with cancer. Carolyn was born on June 29, 1961 in Fremont, to Brian L. and Marilyn (Balluff) Gibson and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1980. Carolyn has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she had been a teachers aide at the Fremont Public Schools for 14 years until her retirement. Carolyn had been an avid bowler, enjoyed softball, gardening and scrap booking, all sports and was a Matt Kenseth fan. Carolyn had been a statistician at White Cloud High School for many sports throughout the years and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Carolyn is survived by her mother, Marilyn Goodrich of White Cloud; her sisters and brothers, Kathryn (Greg) Schulz of White Cloud; Duane (Tonya) Gibson of Ada; Kevin (Becki) Gibson of White Cloud; Monica Gibson of White Cloud; her nieces and nephews, Taryn (Shawn) Farmer, Zack Bryan, Elizabeth Bryan, Hunter Gibson, Hallie Schulz, Allison Schulz, Rob Bird, Jessica Colantuono, Christopher Colantuono; her aunts and uncle, Lynn Gibson of White Cloud; Pat (Orrie) Ebenstein of White Cloud; Donita (Bob) Thwaites of White Cloud; and Lillian Gibson. She was preceded in death by her father, Brian Gibson in 1997 and by her nephew, Michael Bryan in 2010. VISITATION : Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 4 - 8 at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with SCRIPTURE SERVICES at 7:30pm at the funeral home. MASS OF RESSURECTION : Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud. INTERMENT : Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
