Obituary

Carolyn L. Lambert, age 87 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026 surrounded by her family. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother to many. Carolyn was born on June 28, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Lyle and Virginia (Osburne) Dunbar then met and later married Donald C. Lambert on June 6, 1958 in Taylor, Michigan. Carolyn spent many years by Don's side as he entered the Navy, later having their wonderful children and being a caregiver. Carolyn loved helping people, volunteering, and being foster grandparents to many. She had a hand in organizing food donations, giveaways, and distribution in the 1980's. Among other things, Carolyn loved to camp and socialize with all.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Donald L. Lambert of Milan, Tennessee; Terri Lambert (Paula Swartz) of Howard City, Michigan; Scott (Lisa) Lambert of Stanwood, Michigan; Angela M. (Anthony) Dooley of White Cloud; many greatly loved grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her sister Sandy Jones. Carolyn is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Lambert, her daughter-in-law, Brenda Lambert, great grandsons, Nick and Mia Bird, as well as her brothers, Larry and Jerry Dunbar.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 26th, 2026 at Crandell Funeral Home -White Cloud Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. There will be a graveside immediately following the funeral service at Goodwell Township Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Following interment there will be a Luncheon at The Lions Club in White Cloud. Friends may consider making a donation to TrueNorth Children's Christmas Fund in Carolyn's memory.
