Carolyn H. Scott, age 78 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids. Carolyn was born on September 23, 1940 in Grand Rapids to Leroy and Evelyn (Eastman) Young and later met and married Richard Scott on September 28, 1957 in Grand Rapids. Carolyn had been a school bus driver at Kenowa Hills Schools, had worked at White Cloud Products and Grand Rapids Control and later retired from being a manager at Orchid Lake Trailer Park in New Port Richey, Florida in 2000. Carolyn enjoyed crafts, baking, collecting angels, had been active with the Adam Scott Memorial Rodeo but truly treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Richard Scott of White Cloud; her children, Chuck (Lori) Scott of White Cloud; Becky Kuter of Newaygo; Jay (Monique) Scott of Nashville, Michigan; Randy Scott of White Cloud; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; her brother, Ron Young of Mississippi; several nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Scott, her brothers, Charles Young, Raymond Young and Don Young.
