Carolyn M. Sheller, a beloved resident of White Cloud, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12th, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on March 10th, 1948, in Far Rockaway, New York, Carolyn lived a life marked by dedication to family, hard work, and community service.
Carolyn was known for her culinary skills, having spent numerous years bringing joy to those around her through her love for cooking. Her warm meals and even warmer heart were a testament to the care she provided to those she cherished. Alongside her professional life, Carolyn was an active and proud member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), supporting veterans and their families with a fervent passion.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Steven E. Shue of White Cloud, MI. Carolyn was also the cherished sister of Patricia Rehagen Harvey of Nevada, Jackie Jester of Florida, and Adrienne (Charles) Lockhart of Illinois. Her joy was amplified by her grandchildren, Samantha Anderson, Hannah Stear, Sarah Parks, and Matthew Shue, and her great-grandchildren, Sophia, Faith, Hazel, and Justice. Carolyn's familial bond extended to her niece Amanda Cowley, nephews Robert Dowell, Andrew Dowell, and Thomas Taylor, as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Robert G. Cowley, her mother, Shirley Delores (Malick) Wish, her beloved spouse, Douglas E. Sheller, and her dear daughter, Cynthia L. Anderson.
Family and friends are invited to honor Carolyn's memory at a funeral service on Friday, January 17th, 2025. A visitation will precede the service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Crandell Funeral Home Inc, White Cloud, MI. The funeral service will commence at 1:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Jamie Evans.
Arrangements are being thoughtfully handled by Crandell Funeral Home - White Cloud. Carolyn's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for her generosity, kindness, and unwavering love.
