Carson L. Anderson, age 79, of Hesperia, went to be with his Lord on Monday, July 30, 2012, at his home. Carson was born on September 28, 1932, in Tustin, Michigan to Arthur Lewis and Jennie Cordelia (Mead) Anderson and married Pauline Helen Vokes on June 29, 1957, in Marion, Michigan. Carson retired from Brunswick in Muskegon, served in the Army during the Korean War. He loved his family very much and took them on many camping trips. He also loved fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes and cards, and just being outdoors. Carson was a member of the Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia. Carson is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pauline; children, Daniel (Brenda) Anderson of Muskegon, Janice Shingler of New Era, Ronald Anderson of Hesperia, Carol Mast of Rothbury, Linda (Mike) Albritton of Alabama, Joanie (Joseph) Liegeois of Hesperia, Katherine (Ken) Shuman of Montague, Thomas (Tamara) Anderson of Bitely, Christine (John) Wade of Fremont, and Jennifer (Ector) Garza of California; 31 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister and brothers, Doris Doctor of Georgia, Eugene (Mary) Anderson of Muskegon, David (Jean) Anderson of Leroy, and Richard (Charlene) Anderson of Leroy, and Lyle Anderson of Cadillac; and many nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth, Martin, and Leonard; son-in-law, Benny Shingler; sister-in-law, Angie Anderson; grandsons, Glen Shingler and Baby James; and nephew, Bobby Anderson. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 2, 2012, from 5 8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with a Rosary beginning at 7:30PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia with Father Roc Majalla officiating.
