Catherine E. Kaiser , age 90 of Fremont , passed away Monday, July 10, 2000 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. She was born on July 30, 1909, in Vincennes, Indiana, to Lamber and Christina (Memering) Kaiser and was a graduate of Mercy Nursing School and worked for 37 years at Gerber Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1974. Catherine was a faithful member of All Saints Catholic Church. She is survived by brother, Leo (Frieda) Kaiser of Sparta; sister-in-laws, Carolyn and Mary Kaiser and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 14, 2000 from the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with celebrant Rev. Father Richard J. VanLente presiding with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may consider the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund for memorial contributions.
