Catherine Elaine Pence, age 71, of White Cloud went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at her home. Catherine was born on September 5, 1949 in Northville to Bill Cecil and Edna Millicent (Willett) Pence and moved to the Newaygo County area at an early age with her parents. Catherine had worked at Thermo Disc in Newaygo for 20 years until her retirement and enjoyed crocheting, crafts, watching soap operas, playing solitaire and word search puzzles. Catherine cherished her family and spending time with them and was a member of the Christian Life Center in Fremont. Catherine is survived by her brothers and sisters, Nancy Weaver of Tustin; Daniel Pence of White Cloud; Rosemary (Leonard) Jones of White Cloud; Jerry Pence of White Cloud; Dorothy (Jim) Wanstead of Reed City; Judy (Terry) Wanstead of Leroy; Susie Erard of Hesperia; Pamela (Terrell) Hayden of Morley; Marilyn (Doug) Becker of Big Rapids; William "Bill" (Sherene) Pence of White Cloud; Thomas (Missy) Pence of Fremont; Michael (Valerie) Pence of Hesperia, Richard (Valerie) Pence of Lansing; many nieces and nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Edna Pence and her sister and brother-in-law, Molly (Dean) Jones. VISITATION : Friday, October 23,2020 from 5-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. NOTE : during the visitation, a limited number of people will be permitted into the funeral home and friends will need to rotate in and out of the funeral home during the visitation with face coverings required. GRAVESIDE SERVICES : Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11am at the East Hesperia Cemetery 8800 W. 1 Mile Road Hesperia MI 49421 with Pastor Neal Tedford of the Christian Life Center presiding. There will no limitations on the number of people attending the graveside services at the cemetery as a sound system will be available for safe social distancing during the graveside services.
