Cecile I. Ellison, age 80 of Newaygo, passed away Monday, July 9, 2001 at her home. She was born on August 28, 1920 in Lansing, Michigan to Wesley and Nellie Louise (Westgate) Hole and later married Stephen G. Ellison. Stephen preceded her in death on January 7, 1975. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness in Fremont. She had been an active community ministry leader for the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness for many years, was an avid reader and served as librarian at the Woodview Apartments in Newaygo. She is survived her children, George (Janice) Ellison of Grand Rapids; Ena Cobb of Newaygo; Stephen W. (Christine) Ellison of Lowell; Edward (Robin) Ellison of Grandville; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Ferna Middleton of Newaygo; Marjory (Lyster) Wick of Grandville. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David and Oliver Hole. Funeral memorial services were held on Saturday, July 14, 2001 from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness in Fremont with Mr. Rick Beisiegel presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery in White Cloud.
