Chad VanKeuren, Age 39, of Fremont, Michigan, passed away peacefully at the Newaygo County Compassion Home on Saturday, May 11th, 2024.  Chad was born on October 5, 1984, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Kenneth and Kathryn (Holcomb) VanKeuren.   Chad went to Fremont High School, enjoyed wood working, and had a great love for music, whether he was listening to it loudly, playing his guitar or writing one of his many songs.

Chad is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Kathryn VanKeuren, sisters - Becky (Josh) Strayer and Mandi VanKeuren; niece, Maesyn; nephew Trace; maternal grandfather (Papa) Phillip Holcomb; and his lifelong best friend, Mike Robeck; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other friends whose memories, adventures, inside jokes and nicknames will always hold a special place in their hearts.  Waiting for him at the Door to Heaven was his Nana, Marjorie Holcomb; his uncle, Jeffery Holcomb;, his grandma, Phyllis and grandpa, Bobbie Vankeuren; and his favorite dog Taz, and Taz's cousin Rocky. A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
