Charlene M. Brown, age 77 of Brohman, formerly of White Cloud and Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Charlene was born on June 1, 1930 in Grand Rapids to Herman W. and Pauline Marie (Joslin) Gray and later married Darwin Brown on July 3, 1971 in Grand Rapids. Darwin preceded her in death in 2001. Charlene later moved to the White Cloud and Brohman area where she had been a homemaker. She is survived by several grandchildren, her brother, Bob (Grace Ellen) Gray of Anchorage, Alaska; Glen Gray of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin; her son, Jimmy; her brother, Louis Gray. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial of the cremated remains will take place in Belmont.
