Charlene "Char" A. (Moody) LeBlanc, age 55 of White Cloud, formerly of Grandville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 2, 2016 at her home. Char was born on July 26, 1961 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to Theodore and Marion (Sutton) Moody. Char graduated from Elk Rapids High School in 1979 and attended Northwestern Michigan College. Char moved to the White Cloud area in 2015 and married Gerald LeBlanc in July 2016 at Diamond Lake near White Cloud. Char had been a homemaker and had a passion for rescueing abandoned cats and dogs and loved her dog and cats, "her fur children" Char loved to read, garden, cook, laugh, binge watch Netflix, being home, connecting with family and friends on facebook, looking at cat memes; being comfortable in her pajamas. Char loved to play the piano, listen to music and horses as well.

Char is survived by her husband, Jerry LeBlanc of White Cloud; her parents, Theodore and Marion Moody of Rapid City, Michigan; beloved step children, Torrie LeBlanc of Grand Rapids; Alex LeBlanc of Grand Rapids; Mitch LeBlanc of Grand Rapids; brothers: Robert (Robin) Moody of Fort Pierce, Florida; Dennis Moody of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; David (Kathleen) Moody of Alanson, Michigan; Steven (Lynn) Moody of Elk Rapids, Michigan and Daniel Moody of Grandville, Michigan; sisters, Shirley (David) Sutton of Thornton, Colorado; Darlene (David) Weber of Interlochen, Michigan and Pamela (Casey) Jones of Wausau, Wisconsin; her mother-in-law, Betty LeBlanc of Holland; her aunt Marie Lawson of Caro, Michigan and her "fur children" as she called her pets; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held in the spring of 2017 following cremation.
