Jones, Charles L. Charles L. Jones, age 89 of Holton, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2000 at his home in Holton. He was born on March 7, 1911 in Peru, Indiana, to Walter and Catherine (Clark) Jones. He married Eloise M. Walsworth on April 11, 1946 in Holton. He attended the Holton United Methodist Church and worked in maintain for the Holton Public Schools retiring in June of 1956. Charles was an Army veteran of W W II serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Eloise of Holton; 2 daughters Catherine L. Shick of Westbury, New York and Carol R. Brandel of Muskegon; 3 grand daughters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 10, 2000 from the Holton United Methodist Church with Rev. Kenneth Bremer presiding with military graveside services in the Holton Oakwood Cemetery.
