Christine Fowler, age 93, of Fremont, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011, at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial in Fremont. Christine was born on February 14, 1918, in Muskegon, to John and Anna (Nacas) Hiza and married Donald Fowler on May 26, 1939, in Muskegon. Christine had retired from Gerber Products and enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and crafting. Christine is survived by her children, Alan Theodore (Dawn) Fowler of Waterford, Leonard (Carol) Fowler of Saginaw, Joan (Buck) Cook of Fremont, Carolyn Fowler of Big Rapids, and Patricia (Richard) Horton of Fremont; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brothers, George Hiza of Muskegon and Frank Hiza of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1994; and 10 brothers and sisters. Friends are welcome to attend the funeral service at 2 PM on November 12, 2011, at the family home at 2692 S.
