Christine ChrisAnn Holt, age 44 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at her home following a lingering illness. Chris was born on October 26, 1965 in Grand Rapids to Daniel and Peggy (Scoby) Tower and has been a lifelong resident of White Cloud. Chris graduated from White Cloud High School in 1983 and had worked at Dura Automotive for 20 years until her illness stopped her from working. Chris enjoyed reading, especially the Bible and read the Bible every night. She is survived by her significant other, Jeff Latreille of White Cloud; her children, Brian Holt of White Cloud; Cara Holt of White Cloud; her father, Daniel Tower of White Cloud; sister, Wendy (Keith) Eckert of Big Rapids; brothers, David (Michele) Tower of Pierson, Michigan; Russell (Kathy) Tower of Syracuse, Utah; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Scoby of Grand Rapids; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Tower on June 22, 2004. Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 11am at the Big Prairie Community Church with Rev. Arnold Guikema of the Big Prairie Community Church and Rev. Doug Bennett, Chaplain Heartland Hospice presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may consider memorial contributions to the Holt family, C/O Crandell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
