Christine Elizabeth McKeown of White Cloud went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Chris was born on February 1, 1964, in LaFayette, Indiana to James Arnold and Amelia Ann (Christensen) Sutcliffe and married Darrold "Luke" McKeown on August 21, 1982, in White Cloud. Chris graduated in 1982 from White Cloud High School and was in the top 10 in her class. She had previously worked at White Cloud high School and was also an avid softball player. She always enjoyed working in her yard and garden, loved to mushroom hunt, but most of all loved her Lord and Savior. Chris cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren, always putting them first. Chris is survived by her husband of 39 years, Darrold Luke McKeown; children, Rodney Joseph (Kaylene) McKeown of Reed City and Chad Luke (Nicole) McKeown of Yelm, Washington; grandchildren, Lukas, Bristol, Murphy, and Emmett; brother and sister, Amy Lynne (Robert) Pierce of White Cloud and James Arnold (Kristin) Sutcliffe II of Washington State; mother and father-in-law, Jo and Darrold McKeown; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Guy (Beth) McKeown, April Bush, Mark (Amy) McKeown, and Jason McKeown; many nieces and nephews; and special nephew Ian Pierce. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Amelia; and sister-in-law Jody McKeown Fairchild. A Celebration of Life for Christine will be held at 3 PM on Saturday April 9, 2022, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church in White Cloud with Pastor JR Shick officiating. There will be visitation at the Church prior to the service from 2 – 3 PM to meet with the family. Interment will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery.
