Claire Emily Kissinger, age 103 of Fremont, formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  Claire was born on July 2, 1921 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Bertram and Naomi (Barnhart) Shoaff and later married Lawrence Monroe Kissinger Jr. on August 17, 1943.  Lawrence preceded her in death.  Claire had worked as an administrative assistant for the United States Government until her retirement.

Claire had enjoyed dancing in her younger years, playing cards and had been a member of several Pinnocle Club's.

Claire is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Cathy Kissinger of Manistee; her grandchildren, Dean (Charlene) Kissinger; Carrie (Richard) Vaughn; 5 great grandchildren.
