Clara Elizabeth Mazur, age 90, of Newaygo passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility. Clara was born on December 8, 1927, in Wexford County to Henry H. and Anna (Welch) Ross. Clara is survived by her daughter, CindyRae (Kenneth) Warn; daughter-in-law, Denise VanGessel; grandchildren, Paul (Jessica Thompson) Herbert, Benjamin (Sarah) Herbert, Dennis (Kim) VanGessel, Michael (Jennifer) VanGessel, Mari VanGessel, Richard VanGessel Jr. and Christopher (Lori) VanGessel; great- grandchildren, Brennon, Samuel, Shane, Angel, Lillianna, Tosha, Michael II, Alexandra, Hailey, Jacob, Logan, Andrew, Ethaniel, and Ellianna. She was preceded by her husband, Raymond VanGessel; sons, Larry E. VanGessel, Michael James VanGessel, and Richard Allen VanGessel Sr. Clara's wishes were to have cremation with interment in Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids.
