Clarence C. Heiden, age 88, of Holton, Michigan and formerly of Chillicothe, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in the log home he built with his loving wife Pat and his favorite collie Boe at his side. Bun was born on April 17, 1923, in Gaylord, Kansas, to Charlie and Elde (Winkelmann) Heiden and married Patricia on December 17, 1977. Bun owned and operated Chilli Wrecker Service for many years, T Shirt World, and retired from Caterpillar Tractor in Mossville, Illinois. Bun was an Air force Veteran serving in Italy during WWII and member of the American Legion and VFW in Chillicothe, Illinois, and American Legion in Hesperia and Holton, Michigan. Bun was an avid boater on the Illinois River took particular pride building his log home. Bun is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Keith and Kim; daughter, Mary; stepson, Tom; grandchildren; and sister Dottie Fisher. He was preceded by his stepdaughter, Patty Jo.
