Claude Coleman, age 74 of White Cloud and formerly of Augusta, Michigan passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2000 at his home. He was born on August 4, 1925 in Augusta to Carl and Cecelia Coleman and had been a service technician at the Ferris State University for many years. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Coast Guard. He is survived by 14 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Cecelia Coleman; brothers, Walter, Raymond, Donald, Ralph, and Eugene; sister Beatrice. Funeral services were held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan following cremation. Friends may consider the Newaygo County Community Services Endowment Fund at the Fremont Area Foundation for the Childrens Christmas Fund for memorial contributions.
