Clayton "Bill" Stout, age 91 of Fremont, passed away Monday, April 2, 2001 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. He was born on March 30, 1910 in Fremont to Louis and Goldie (Dake) Stout and married Virginia Dresser on October 2, 1937 in Fremont. Virginia preceded him in death on June 8, 1990. Bill and Virginia had been married 53 years at the time Virginias passing. Bill worked as a production worker at Gerber Products Company until his retirement in 1972 at the age of 62. He had also been a farmer all his life and continued to farm his land until his passing. He enjoyed gardening vegtables and eating salted in the shell peanuts, which he continued to enjoy up until the time he entered the Transitional Health Services in mid March. SURVIVORS His children, June (Robert) Dusenberry of Bradenton, Florida; Nancy (Michael) Hannahs of Fremont; Goldie (Lee) Host of Fremont; Warren Stout of Muskegon; Earl (Gladys) Stout of Lehigh Acres, Florida; Clyde A. (Ann) Stout of Vanderbilt, Michigan; Loris Edward Stout of Fremont; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Barnhard of Fairborn, Ohio; sister-in-laws, Lorna Bonney of Chicago; Sabrey Clabaugh of California; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Myrtle, Ethel, and Nilah and brothers, Jake and Clarence. Funeral Services were held on Friday, April 6, 2001 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with interment in the East Hesperia Cemetery.
