Cook, Cleo M. Cleo M. Cook, age 87 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Cleo was born on December 18, 1918 in White Cloud to J.C. and Nellie (Rattin) Albright and later married Leon James Cook on August 21, 1937. Leon preceded her in death on June 10, 1958. Cleo has been a lifelong resident of Fremont where she was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church and had worked at Gerber Products Company for many years until her retirement in January 1982. Cleo is survived by her daughter, Bettie (Carl) DeKuiper of Fremont; 6 grandchildren, Calvin (Beth) DeKuiper of Ludington; Melissa (Ross) Robinson of Milwaukee; Andrea (Kent) Ensing of Zeeland; Chris DeKuiper of Chicago; Larry (Jane) Zandvliet of Fremont; Kim (James) Dow of Hesperia; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Cleo was preceded in death by her daughters, Darlene Zandvliet and Jane Louise Cook; by her great grandson, Tanner Ensing; and by her 5 brothers, Ivan, Lee, Dale, Lloyd and Floyd Albright. Private Family graveside services were held in August at the White Cloud Cemetery following Cleos wishes for cremation.
