He was born on November 29, 1941 in Green Lake , Michigan to Leroy Mansfield and Elnora Adelia (Smith) Taylor and later married Janet Sheldon on December 7, 1963 in Grand Rapids . He has been a resident of the area since 1982 where he was a self employed auto mechanic and enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet of Hesperia; her children, Clifford Taylor and special friend, Susie Erard of Fremont; Tabatha (Gary) Taylor Marvin of Hesperia; Tracey (Alan) Taylor Boyette of Holton; Todd Taylor of Hesperia; Kevin (Deb) Taylor of Fremont; Marty (Heather) Taylor of Fremont; 23 grandchilden; 8 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Lorraine Brown of White Cloud; Goldie Lanesky of Grant; Robert Taylor and special friend Joe Murray of Fort Myers, Florida; Dan (Deb) Taylor of Holton; Linda (Stanley) Cole of Marenisco, Michigan; Sandra (Dale) Cole of Grant; Timothy Taylor and special friend Marie of Altona, Michigan; Elizabeth Taylor Fitzgerald of Hesperia; Mary Lee Castle of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews.
