Clyde E. Reene, age 72 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont following a short illness. Clyde was born on June 22, 1939 in Custer, Michigan to Dewey and Della (Flora) Reene and later married Roseanna Hill on June 13, 1969 in Muskegon. Clyde has been a resident of the White Cloud area since 1979 and had worked at the O.J. Briggs Lumber Company and later was the groundskeeper at the White Cloud Cemetery until his retirement. Clyde enjoyed watching sports and old western shows on the television, was a Nascar fan and followed Jeff Gordon and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Clyde is survived by his wife, Rose of White Cloud; his children and grandchildren, Scott Reene and children, Seth and Katlin of White Cloud; Penny Wheater and children, Nicole and Tara; his daughter-in-law, Maria Reene and children, Antonio and Enrico of Atlanta, Michigan; his sister, Dorothy Coe of North Manchester, Indiana. Clyde was preceded in death by his son, James Reene on March 7, 2009; his granddaughter, Melissa on August 30, 2009; his sister, Bertha and brother, Leroy. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 2 PM, at the Faith Bible Church in White Cloud with Pastor Jason Baustein presiding following cremation.
