Cora Mae Kari KC Kilts, age 46 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at her home following a short illness. Kari was born on September 3, 1965 in Muskegon to Henry and Joyce (Dutcher) Wade and graduated from Fremont High School in 1984. Kari married Steven Kilts on October 27, 1984 in Fremont and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area. Kari enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, making ceramic Christmas ornaments, helping people and her animals, but her true love was her family. Kari is survived by her husband, Steven of Fremont; her sons, Steven Kilts II of Fremont; Matthew Kilts of Fremont; Kody (Laina) Kilts of Fremont; her grand daughter, Andrea Mae Kilts; her mother and father, Henry and Joyce Wade of Fremont; her sister, Michelle (Carl) Maynard of White Cloud; John (Christine) Wade of Fremont; mother-in-law, Donna (gary) Bennett of Cadillac; brother-in-law, Todd (Chris) Kilts of Big Rapids; sister-in-law, Pam (Tony) Popoloski of Howard City; sister-in-law, Michele (Doug) Gary of Midland; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Wade on April 19, 2006. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2pm at the Fremont Christian Church with a time of visitation with the family from 12:30 until the time of the services following cremation.
