Martin, Cora O. Cora O. Martin, age 89 of Byron Township , formerly of Fremont , passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at her home. Cora was born on August 9, 1914 in White Cloud to John Bert and Stella F. (Harner) Bryan and had been a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years. She later married Joseph Martin on November 11, 1994 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2002 . She was a former member of the Women of the Moose in Fremont and had been an avid bowler at Fremont Lanes until she moved to Byron Township . She is survived by her children, Patricia (Richard) Slagter of Byron Township, Michigan; Marlene (Howard) Jenkins of Jenison; Tamara Crofoot of Florida; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Martin and by several brothers and sisters. Graveside memorial services were held in August at the East Riverton Cemetery near Scottville.
