Cynthia Sue Visser, age 55 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home. Cindy was born on August 10, 1959 to Russell and Patricia F. (Opel) Chrisman in Laona, Wisconsin and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1977. Cindy married Lee Visser on January 14, 1978 in White Cloud and has been a lifelong resident of White Cloud. Cindy started work at the White Cloud State Bank in 1987 which later became the Independent Bank, where she was the Assistant Branch Manager for many years. Cindy was a devoted member of the White Cloud community where she was active in the White Cloud Chamber of Commerce and involved in many kids programs within the community. She enjoyed boating, campfires, canning and seemed to always have a smile on her face and happiness in her heart. Cindys greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. Cindy is survived by her husband, Lee; her children, Justin (Catherine) Visser of Fremont; Marla (Kurt) Bergstedt of Fremont; 6 grandchildren, Bella Visser, Ayvah Visser, Bas Visser and Hanna Visser, Colin Bergstedt and Kelly Bergstedt; her mother, Patricia Kent of Grand Rapids; her sister, Judy (Tim) Strickler of Grand Rapids; her brother, James (Elaine) Chrisman of Wisconsin. A time of gathering to celebrate and remember Cindy will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 3-7 pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel for friends to share memories with the family. Private memorial services will be held at a later date following cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Cindy Visser Memorial Fund C/O Independent Bank for kids programs in Newaygo County.
